Proof that reading books don’t necessarily make one smarter…
So a recent poll found that liberals read about one more book a year than conservatives - or as the press spun it: liberals/moderates read more books than conservatives (hat tip: Newsbusters). Well, you can all read the link to discuss the bias in the poll, though more amusing is the media’s reaction to it.
However, I think this just goes to show that one can read a lot and still hold on to certain ideas that are just plain silly. This is especially true if one reads books that only support one’s own world view.
